Windows OS History
Bill Gates announced about Microsoft Windows on 10 November 1983, and two years later in 1985 Microsoft Windows 1.0 was introduced and since then almost every year Microsoft has been releasing a number of windows operating systems. The latest one released is Windows 7 and was released in October 22, 2009.
Microsoft Windows
Microsoft Windows is a series of operating systems produced by Microsoft.
Microsoft introduced an operating environment named Windows on November 20, 1985 as an add-on to MS-DOS in response to the growing interest in graphical user interfaces (GUIs).[2] Microsoft Windows came to dominate the world's personal computer market, overtaking Mac OS, which had been introduced in 1984.
Windows is a proprietary software, which means that Microsoft has placed restrictions on how people can use or copy the software.
Windows 7
Windows 7 is the latest release of Microsoft Windows, a series of operating systems produced by Microsoft for use on personal computers, including home and business desktops, laptops, netbooks, tablet PCs, and media center PCs. Windows 7 was released worldwide on October 22, 2009, less than three years after the release of its predecessor, Windows Vista.

- Go to sleep and resume faster
- Use up less memory
- Pop us search results faster
- Reconnect to wireless network more quickly
- Recognize USB devices faster
There are also other aims.
Upgrades and Improvements to Windows 7
There are a lot of upgrades from Vista / XP, and I will mention here some of the upgrades.
