On September 19th, with the beginning of a new week, our studies also began.
All the lecturers had been very friendly and had deep knowledge about their subjects.
I had a feeling that this subject ( ICT ) would be a bit challenging as I had never studied it before, but the first week went on pretty well.
The studies began with the most basic, introducing what a computer is to the class, which is a programmable machine that carries out what it would be instructed to do. We were taught about the computer hardware basics, its main components. Then we were taught about the numbering systems, which includes decimal, binary, octal and hexadecimal. This was quite interesting as we had to learn different methods to convert one numbering system to the other.
So, in short, the first week of studies was a very good experience.
